Israel allows tourist groups without third COVID-19 dose

The tourists are allowed to enter Israel without taking a third vaccine dose. Lately, Knesset Corona Virus Committee declared that up to 40 people doesn’t need a booster shot needed by individual tourists, but have to act as a “pod” in the time in Israel, cannot mix with an outside designated group.

The rules changed on 1st November 2021, to allow international tourists who are vaccinated during the 180 days before their plane to board Israel.

Moreover, five to 40 people must be vaccinated to enter Israel.  The country has opened its borders to single tourists inoculated with WHO accredited vaccines over the past 14 days like – Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssen, Sinovac and Sinopharm, provided for that they did not travel to countries specified as “red” zones.

Russians vaccinated with Sputnik V are allowed to enter Israel from 15th Nov. Coming up with this crucial step helped the Israel tourism industry from the pathetic pandemic and accompanying restrictions.

On Monday, Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz said that Israel will take all needed precautions to maintain public health and to discover new variants as early as possible alongside maintaining the country’s economy, education, culture and tourism.

There were 164 serious COVID-19 cases in Israel as of Monday reports, close to 750 months ago. On Sunday, there were 498 new diagnoses. From the starting of the pandemic total caseload comes to 1,334,342.
