Israel reopens to tourism but travellers express their confusion on new guidelines

In Israel, only those are who fully vaccinated or who have recently recovered from COVID-19 will be allowed to enter the country. However, travellers will have to go through testing, before flying as well as upon landing in the country.


In an attempt to provide better clearness to prospective visitors, on Sunday, the Tourism Ministry of Israel on its website, introduced a dedicated landing page in English wherein useful information about current travel requirements have been updated.


The Media Line spoke to several incoming and outgoing travellers at Ben Gurion Airport. Many of them expressed their confusion on the latest set of guidelines.
