Israel Tourism to host webinar to celebrate the holiday of Tu Bishvat

The Israel Ministry of Tourism (IMOT) will host a webinar, “The Birthday of the Trees: Sustainability in Israel,” which will take place Wednesday January 27, 2021 at 1PM EST. The virtual event will feature some of Israel’s leading organizations in sustainability including The Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel (Israel’s largest environmental organization), the Israel Wine Producers Association and the Jewish National Fund.  

 The webinar will highlight ways to visit Israel while also giving back and contributing to conservation, a wine tasting from Israeli wineries committed to sustainable viticulture, and of course a Tu Bishvat seder (a feast of fruits).
