Israel Wine Producers Association partnered with the Israel Ministry of Tourism and hosted a virtual wine tour of Israel “A Sip of Israel in North America” today. The virtual wine producing tour illustrated the art of wine-making in Israel.
At a time when the world is forced to stay inside, IWPA has come up with an innovative way to stay connected while staying indoors. A unique virtual wine touring is all planned to inform, engage and encourage participation in the Israel tourism while exploring some of the finest wines of the regions. This virtual tour has been planned to attract and engage viewers to explore beauty of Israel wine making.
The tour featured wines from various regions in Israel such as, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Negev, Golan and Galilee. Throughout tour each region also highlighted the key attraction and activities that has always attracted tourists to Israel. Directors also joined by the winemakers from these regions joined to discuss and also share views on wine making of five finest wines and discussed with the host Joshua Greenstein, Executive Vice President of the IWPA.
Chad Martin, IMOT Director of the Northeast Region mentioned that they have indulged into several collaborations with IWPA in each region, however they noticed that webinars and virtual tours are being organised regularly and people are participating, and hence they planned to do it on a larger scale. He added further that the Ministry of Tourism has been focussing on promoting Israel not only as a wine destination, but also as a tourist spot where visitors can enjoy touring along with fine tuning his wine experience.
The virtual wine touring event scheduled on August 19 and it began at 4:30 p.m. EST, 3:30 p.m. CST, 1:30 p.m. PST, and 9:30 p.m. BST. IWPA however came up with special wine tasting experience during the virtual wine making experience at “A Sip of Israel in North America”.
