JA Manafaru Maldives, the multi award-winning resort recently announced that it has decided a probable reopening of the property and is likely to open its doors around October. Located at the most northern tip of Maldives in the beautiful Haa Alifu Atoll, ahead of its reopening the resort is already following complete safety and sanitisation measures in line with government directives and WTTC’s protocols from the ‘Safe Travels’ initiative.
The resort is situated at an outstanding location beyond the rest of the islands’ cluster and offers guests the option of exploring pristine natural landscapes. It provides privacy, space and distance from other islands standing perfectly at the juncture where the Arabian Sea meets the vast Indian Ocean. The peace is further enhanced by individual accommodation options ranging from 135 sq. m. to 1600 sq. m. rooms on the island. It also offers guests private pool and outdoor dining options.
Karen Merrick, General Manager, JA Manafaru Maldives said in a statement that the land space of the Beach Villas and Private Residence JA Manafaru affords much more privacy than other resorts. She said that the resort showcases a larger area with even entry level options than most deluxe categories in the Maldives. She mentioned that the lagoon-ringed island location will also allow guests to feel much safer as it is far and away from all the hustle and bustle of large tourist or locally inhabited areas.
She also informed that many of the hotel’s previous guests have already inquired as to when they can return to the island and the property for vacations and said that the hotel’s aim for the fourth quarter of the year is the most appropriate time of reopening according to the current international regulations.
