JAL Announces New “AIR Japanese Soba Noodles Tsuta” Menu

Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. (JAL) and 79　Co., Ltd. (operates `Japanese Soba Noodles Tsuta` – the first Michelin-starred ramen shop in Japan) co-developed the 27^th installment of JAL’s AIR SERIES in-flight menu called “AIR Japanese Soba Noodles Tsuta,” which will be available from March 1, 2018. This meal will be served on flights departing from Japan to Europe, USA, and Australia (excluding some routes).

“AIR Japanese Soba Noodles Tsuta” is a noodle based meal without the soup. The meal is prepared by mixing the noodles with Tsuta’s signature truffle/chicken flavored oil and topped with chicken and bamboo shoots. This menu was served as a dish at the highly acclaimed restaurant `Tsuta` and will now be served exclusively as JAL`s in-flight meal. Please enjoy this limited time menu on your next flight on Japan Airlines.

Applicable class: Premium Economy Class, Economy Class

Service Period: March 1, 2018 ~ May 31, 2018

Applicable routes:

From Tokyo (Narita) to Chicago, Dallas Fort Worth, Boston, New York, Los Angeles, San Diego, Vancouver, Frankfurt, Helsinki, and Melbourne

From Tokyo (Haneda) to San Francisco, New York, London (JL043 only), and Paris

From Osaka (Kansai) to Los Angeles

※ Served as the second meal before arrival on select routes.

Main Dish：Chicken Soba（Topping：Chicken, Bamboo Shoots, Thin Omelet Strips）

Appetizer：Bok-choy with Cashew Nuts

Dessert：White Peach Jelly
