Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Tourism department’s recent public outreach in Dubai witnesses positive response

The Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Tourism department’s recent public outreach in Dubai saw a good response in the UAE.
Aimed toward promoting J&K as an all-season escape, the event held at Hotel Oberoi in Dubai last Friday, witnessed a huge public response.

“We aimed promotion of J&K to highlight the various attractions that our Union Territory (UT) offers. It is an important step towards targeting tourists from the Middle East,” said Waseem Raja, Additional Secretary Tourism, J&K.

The Dubai event was attended by important travel operators, media persons, and government officials from India’s Ministry of Tourism, and general members of the public. Various prominent people from the J&K diaspora in Dubai also took part in the glittering event.

“Holidaymakers can explore the natural beauty, cuisine, art, culture and other products offered by the UT,” said Additional Secretary Tourism.

During the event, Waseem Raja made a detailed presentation to uphold the beautiful destinations of J&K.

Dubai travel fraternity complemented the Tourism department of J&K for organizing the event and assured the department of their support regarding upholding J&K tourism in the UAE.
