Following the consequences of the pandemic which has distraught the tourism industry of Japan completely, hotels have offered attractive deals to pull domestic tourists.

For instance, a Tokyo hotel is promoting the best deal by providing guests a free stay, if they check in on social media.

Hotel New Shohei, located close to the Tokyo Metro Yotsuya station, has witnessed a dramatic decrease in guests in the middle of the outbreak, with some days with zero guests, as per Sora News,

Rather leaving rooms empty, the hotel owner thought it would be beneficial to let travelers stay for free of charge and enjoy their service.

However, the hotel is offering the free stay in return of a small favor from its guests.

They should mention the name and location of the hotel and post photos in one of their social media accounts. This is what the hotel is seeking in return.

Also, the hotel does not require lengthy positive reviews to be written. Besides, if the visitors do not want to reveal the exact date of their stay, they can just inform the hotel and add their post later on.

All guests can enjoy free coffee, juice, and alcoholic beverages in the guest lounge of the hotel.

From Monday to Friday nights, the free stay plan is available for solo travelers. All they need to do is to mention “I’d like to request the free room plan” when they are opting for a reservation.
