Japan’s decision to fully reopen its borders for tourists once again commencing from September 7, presents a huge scope for hotels and inbound tourism service providers all around the world to seize Japanese tourists once more.
Alex Barros, the Director of Marketing and Innovation at Beonprice, said that the flow of inbound Japanese travelers to Europe is a positive sign. On the other hand, Japanese citizens could also leave the country for some time, being subject to constraints for long. Additionally, the opening up to foreign tourists is a clear indication that the Japanese government perceives the wider world as safe once more, and this is something that will be uplifting Japanese tourists.
Hotels, therefore, need to initiate their Japan sales and marketing channels yet again.
However, the Yen currency is at one of its feeblest points in several years. This is expected to make international travel for Japanese people a bit more expensive. Hence, maintaining and growingproductivity could become moreproblematic. In spite of everything, with the right plan, it would surely be imaginable, since hoteliers value Japanese guests highly.
