Jerre Fuqua has been appointed as the President of the recognised Wisconsin-based tour company Holiday Vacations. He is likely to begin his term on July 13 and will be reporting to Andrew Todd, CEO, Holiday Vacations and President and CEO of Xanterra Travel Collection, the holding company of Holiday Vacations.
Jerre comes with years of experience and is a respected veteran of the industry. Prior to his latest role he worked as the Senior Vice President of Global Travel Products and Services with Rovia, LLC, a Texas- based Virtuoso travel agency and tour operations business. As a part of his role he was responsible for company growth, new product development and financial performance.
He holds a double major degree in Marketing and Management from University of Alaska, Anchorage. He also earned a CTC, Certified Travel Consultant Accreditation; and CTME, Certified Travel Marketing Executive Accreditation. Before joining Rovia, Jerre held senior roles in sales, marketing and operations. He has also been associated with the TUI Group as well as served several leadership positions including President of Travcoa, YMT Vacations, and TCS Expeditions.
He has also served as the Chairman of the United States Tour Operators Association from 2013-2015. With over 25 years’ experience of building and leading brands that are known for delivering exceptional guest experiences, Jerre has built a reputation for driving growth through consumer and trade initiatives that deliver strong financial results in tour companies in particular. His presidency will certainly take Holiday Vacations to better heights in the future.
