A passenger of JetBlue who would not stop biting people on board this flight compelled the airplane to for an emergency landing so that the cops would be able to deal with him.
The flight was travelling from Los Angeles International Airport to JFK in New York.
It was somewhere close to Utah when the unidentified man started biting people next to him who appeared to be known to him. He even started punching strangers as per a report of a regional news media agency.
The flight was also carrying a doctor on board.
However, when the doctor made attempts to examine him, the man attacked him as well.
The fellow passengers had to help restrain the unruly flier.
One of the passengers asserted that he had grabbed his hands behind his back, holding him firmly there. At this time the flight attendants placed restraints on him. Immediately the attacked started screaming. He concluded that he and the flight attendants had a tough time in their efforts to restrain him.
Thereafter the pilot made an unscheduled stopover in Las Vegas.
And, the customer was escorted off the aircraft. Rest of the passengers then resumed their flight to New York in the absence of any incidents, according to an official statement of JetBlue to the news agency.
The news agency also reported that the eventually the man was taken into custody.
