The state government of Jharkhand is aiming to make Jharkhand a major tourist attraction in near future. Inaugurating The Kannelite – SakchiVihar Hotel, Raghubar Das, the CM of Jharkhand announced that the state government is planning to set up a 200-acre international film city in Patratu, Ramgarh district in the state soon.

Mr. Das was accompanied by Amar Bauri, the Tourism Minister of Jharkhand. The Jharkhand government has framed a well thought-out tourism policy with detailed infrastructure required for the state, and the Government is working hard to put it into practice.

The Chief Minister said, “It’s our prime focus to make Jharkhand an international tourist hub.  We will develop all the beautiful places in the state into tourist attractions. Once this is done, Jharkhand will be one of the most attractive tourist lands, not only from India but from all over the world.”
