Jill Kluge will don a new cap at Mandarin Oriental

Kluge-700x559Jill Kluge will be the chief marketing officer of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group once Michael Hobson retires in the year end.

 

At present, Jill Kluge is the director of brand communications of the Mandarin Oriental group. She manages the group’s corporate communications strategies comprising global public relations, brand identity, international advertising, and digital marketing.

 

Before joining Mandarin Oriental in 1991 in Hong Kong, she worked with international hotel brands in the UK and Asia at various marketing and sales positions.

 

In 1991, she held the post of public relations manager, and shifted to the group’s corporate office in London in 2001.

 

James Riley, group chief executive at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, said: “Jill has been instrumental in driving Mandarin Oriental’s strong brand recognition over the past 25 years. I congratulate her on this well-deserved promotion, and wish her every success.”

 

 

He expressed his gratitude to Michael Hobson for his enormous contribution to the brand, and the global development of the business after he joined Mandarin Oriental in 1994.

 

 

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has various luxurious hotels, resorts and residences across the world under its umbrella. It operates 31 hotels and seven residences in 21 countries and territories reflecting the fact that it is a reputed global brand.
