JKRLM displays traditional produces of J&K in G20 summit

The Jammu & Kashmir rural livelihoods mission (JKRLM) displayed the traditional productivity of the
area with the help of its Umeed market and millet cafe, getting compliments from far-off delegates in the recently held G20 summit in Kashmir.

With the theme, ‘empowering women and promoting local craftsmanship’, JKRLM’s Umeed marketplace turned out to be a vivacious center where eight women businesspersons from the assignment created their stands at the esteemed Sher-e-Kashmir International Conference Center (SKICC).

The stalls displayed exclusive products that grabbed the responsiveness of the G20 representatives,
extending from elaborate handicrafts to agrarian harvests and value-added items among others.

The overseas delegates commended the excellent craftwork of women in Kashmir and were pleased to
discover the varied presentations at the Umeed marketplace.

The event highlighted the soul of power and flexibility, with women from diverse regions across Jammu &
Kashmir displaying their aptitudes and business skills.

The JKRLM educated and endowed these women with strength, allowing them to grow into independent and join in the international market. A millet cafe was also set up entirely for the overseas representatives at SKICC.
