From July 10, Joe DiFonzo will take over as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Sabre Corp. He has spent almost 30 years in technology leadership with eight years at Syniverse.
His will look after Sabre’s Enterprise technology organization, as well as corporate information technology, and risk and security functions. His main task will be building the next generation of tools and processes as Sabre is here to invest in enhancements to its technology infrastructure that supports airlines, hotels, travel agencies and corporate customers across the globe.
Sean Menke, Sabre’s president said we intend to enhance our technology capabilities and continue our drive to scale our infrastructure to support greater efficiency. Joe’s experience in handling technology transformation will add value to our company and exceed expectations. We will work together to provide impeccable reliability and security for our customers.
Joe holds a bachelor’s degree in computer scinece from the University of Central Florida. He had also spent 20 years at Convergys/ Cincinnati Bell Information Systems, leading architecture and product development teams.
In the days to come travel industry’s reliance on technology will keep on growing and Sabre with its strong reputation will keep delivering more mentioned DiFonza.
