Jon Benson appointed General Manager of Hāna-Maui Resort

Jon Benson has been appointed as the General Manager of Hāna-Maui Resort, a destination hotel that recently joined the Hyatt portfolio. Benson is an industry veteran and comes with more than 34 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

In this new role, Benson is responsible for management, operations and marketing of the resort, suites, bungalows and family residences, as well as assisting with the rebrand of the resort. He began his tenure with Hyatt in Southern California and has held various roles throughout his career.

Prior to his latest appointment, Benson served as Area General Manager at Hyatt Regency Long Beach. Hāna-Maui Resort is located on the eastern tip of Maui in the legendary town of Hāna and offers an experiential Hawaiian retreat. The hotel is set to reopen on October 15, after months of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
