In a significant development to support tourism and hospitality infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh, JüSTa Hotels & Resorts has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority. This collaboration is set to see high-end shopping centres being developed across key locations in the state, in line with the government’s aim for tourism-based economic growth.
The MoU was signed at the Tourism Conclave held in Vijayawada, which was a major event in the state to promote tourism, organised under the auspices of the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority, and it was signed by the CEO of Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority, Amrapali Kata and the Vice President, Development of the jüSTa Hotels & Resorts, Richa Khurana Singh. In addition, the event showcased the state’s initiatives to reshape its tourism market Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, also attended the event.

This collaboration of JüSTa Hotels & Resorts with the Andhra Pradesh government is expected to revolutionise tourism in the region. JüSTa, a design-led, boutique hotel brand representing culture and heritage, now has a tie-up with an infrastructure major to develop new hospitality infrastructe in the state. Though the specific site for development is yet to be decided, there is a deliberate strategy to have properties in important tourist destinations like Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, and Pilikula in Kurnool district, which is emerging as an infrastructure-wise and tourist-wise fast region.
