JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, the leading five star luxury hotel in Mumbai is all set to bring a taste of Munich to the city, with German brew fest popularly known as “Oktoberfest” until 3rd October, 2021.
Executive Chef Abhishek Basu and his team have curated a menu that presents a taste of the traditional Oktoberfest signature dishes as well as dishes that offer a taste of Bavaria, that complement the vast gamut of beers.
Lotus Café, the all-day dining restaurant will be transformed to replicate the Oktoberfest festivities with a vast collection of German brews such as Erdinger, Erdinger Dunkel, Becks and more, alongside a traditional German feast. Associates will be dressed in traditional “Dirndl” dresses and “Lederhosen” juggling mugs filled with beer, as Bavarian music and culture fills the air. The special Oktoberfest beers will also be served at the sea-facing lobby lounge and bar, Reflections.
Guests at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu can select from an a la carte menu of appetizers like Classic German Potato Salad, Maultaschen Poached Chicken Dumpling with Flavoured Chicken Broth, Braised Sticky Baby Pork Ribs, Spatzele Wild Mushrooms, Parsley, Fried Onion. Delicious mains include German Sailor’s Sweet heart- Fresh tilapia, Mushroom, sauerkraut, dill and caper butter sauce, Sauerbraten-Braised Lamb Leg with German Potato pancake and gravy, Choice of Grilled Sausages, German Potato Pancake, Sauerkraut, Braised Mushrooms and much more.
