Kashmir now has a new experience for travelers. The Tourism Department of Kashmir has launched a Srinagar City Heritage Tour Bus Service, which will give tourists a chance to visit the heritage sites, cuisines and handicrafts of the region.
The new bus service will be a great addition to the existing attractions of Kashmir, helping visitors to get a better understanding of its heritage. The all new tour bus service will take tourists to Burzhama, Hariparbat, Chatipadshahi, Jamia Masjid, Hazratbal, Buddhist Site Harwan, PariMahal and otherdestinations.
SarmadHafeez, Secretary Tourism, flagged off the maiden tour bus service. He further said that the Department of Tourism is also thinking of starting night skiing and night Shikara in the Valley. Both these activities are quite popular in Kashmir, and night experiences can be even more exciting. But these activities will be offered only under strict COVID protocols. According to hHafeez, travel and tourism stakeholders in Kashmir are all fully vaccinated.
The Department of Tourism has also organized snow events in Gulmarg, Doodpathri and Sonamarg among other places. This has been done in the occasion of National Tourism Day.Tourists can see theleading attractions of Kashmir, which includes temples, mosques, archaeological sites, shrines and more. This is also a good opportunity to explore the cuisine of Kashmir.
