Kempinski Hotels received 2022 Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award

Kempinski Hotels, Europe’s oldest international luxury hotel group, has received the 2022 Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award (GEWA), recognising the most engaged workplace cultures in the world. After another year of unpredictability in the workplace, Gallup found that Kempinski Hotels continues to engage and develop its people amid the disruption. While others slowed down or hit “pause” during times of uncertainty, the luxury hotel group stayed true to its organisational values and showed resiliency, determination and commitment to making their people a priority.

The Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award was created in 2007 and it is Gallup’s most coveted recognition for companies with engaged workplace cultures. The aim of this prestigious award is to recognise and celebrate employers that achieve exceptional performance by fostering a culture of engagement. The award honors thriving organisations that have attained world-class performance by making engagement a cornerstone of their business strategy. Winners of the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award consistently place people, both employees and customers, and their values at the centre of decision-making.

And Melissa Salibi adds: “Receiving this recognition, is not just about having a good engagement score, but rather about organically creating and maintaining a culture that revolves around the employee experience and wellbeing. Companies must comply with a stringent set of requirements to even qualify as nominees, and achievement by itself, and a panel of judges which review all applications and complete the selection of winners.”

After having ranked #1 in the Travel and Leisure Industry on Forbes World’s Best Employers List 2021, this is another prestigious accolade garnered by Kempinski, underlining not only the collective commitment to develop talents and refine their skills, but also offering a workplace where sharing a great sense of community and belonging is key.
