Lately, a new face has been selected at the Anguilla Tourist Board.
The Anguilla Executive Council has declared the appointment of Tourism Entrepreneur and Lifestyle Connoisseur, Kenroy Herbert, as the new Chairman of the Anguilla Tourist Board (ATB). As Chairman, Herbert will guide the seven-member Board in looking after the worldwide operations of the Anguilla Tourist Board in all source markets.
Chairman Herbert and the Board will be entrusted for tactfully administering Anguilla’s promotional, sales and marketing efforts, on island as well as overseas, to tourism arrivals bigger while optimizing the benefits of the industry for the residents of Anguilla.
As an eminent businessman in hospitality and lifestyle, Chairman Herbert is pretty familiar with the tourism industry of Anguilla and its potential. To quote the Minister of Tourism, the Hon. In his new role, Chairman Herbert’s priorities include the selecting the Director of Tourism, the developing the arrival and departure experiences for all, a constant rise in visitor arrivals from current as well as rising markets, the development and improvement of the Anguilla/St. Maarten dock facilities, and the rise of tourism revenue via exploration of new niche markets like regional tourism and local experience tourism.
