Kerala Tourism is getting ready for another motivated movement to take its already nicely rooted responsible tourism project to another scale and level altogether. With the help of its Responsible Tourism Mission, the state tourism department lately launched a promotional drive to make Kerala tourism women-friendly.
What makes the Kerala promotional drive different from the normal safe travel campaigns for women is its entire strategy regarding how they want to attain that goal. Inaugurating the campaign of late, Kerala Tourism Minister, PA Mohamed Riyas said that the state tourism wants to realize it by setting up women-friendly tourism centers and by empowering women. The plan will be applied by means of the involvement of women from all sections of the society.
