Kerala Tourism Minister P.A. Mohamed Riyas has launched the Pullupikadavu tourism venture in Narath grama panchayat.
Pullupikadavu is an offshoot of the Valapattnam River, reaching the border of Munderi village panchayat via Kattampallykadavu.
Administrative permission has been given for the Rs. 4.15-crore task. The place is appropriate for adventure tourism.
Three stalls for river fish selling, eight kiosks for local food, floating-dining amenities that can house up to 25 people, boating and kayaking are inclusive of the scheme.
The first stage will comprise numerous segments of water tourism. The tourism venture at Pullupikadavu, which is only 5 kms from Kannur city, is anticipated to play a key role for thegrowth of tourism in north Malabar.
