In order to provide a new motivation to its hard work to attract travelers from the U.S., the Kerala Tourism department organized a slew of roadshows in the popular cities of Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco.

K. S Srinivas, the Principal Secretary of Tourism Kerala, led the prestigious formal delegation, making demonstrations in these three cities, displaying new tourism gifts, globally-acclaimed resources and schemes under the responsible tourism enterprises that travelers would get to understand while visiting Kerala.

At the roadshow of New York, Randhir Jaiswal, the Consul General, was the chief guest. V. Senthur Kumaran, Assistant Director, India Tourism, also took part in the event.

Consul General T.V. Nagendra Prasad became the chief guest at the event in San Francisco.

A ‘Go Kerala’ competition was also held in these three cities.

The US is a significant market for Kerala, and these roadshows would add substantial power for attracting tourists from the country.

The delegation comprised conspicuous trade associates from Kerala. Of late, The New York Times highlighted Kerala among the 52 places to visit this year. Last year, TIME magazine mentioned Kerala as one of the greatest places to visit in 2022.
