Kerala Tourism has released a new ad campaign titled, ‘Kerala homestays, there’s a room for everyone.’
The ad film highlights the beautiful scenes from Kerala farms. It features a family of three coming from another city to visit Kerala homestays. The vacationers include a young boy, possibly a teenager, always busy with his phone and not bothered or unaware of his surroundings.
The twist comes when he watches the host’s son, almost similar in age, playing with old school local activities. The visitor gets curious to see what the host is doing and slowly starts playing with that localite, leaving his phone aside. He starts enjoying the fruits on the farm and playing with his new friend. His parents also find him trying a bath from the well on the farm like the locals.
The film highlights how important it is to connect with nature and mother earth. Stressing on the busy, occupied and hectic schedules of metro cities, the campaign focuses on the experience of Kerala homestays, giving message that there’s a room for everyone.
