The traditional travel booking process usually starts with flights, then accommodations and, finally, things-to-do in the destination of choice. But according to data from Klook’s latest events survey, travelers’ decision-making patterns are shifting.

The independently conducted survey discovered that the majority of travelers now decide on in-destination activities before flights and hotels. According to the report, 52% of Indian travelers surveyed said they planned to attend an event or activity in a destination prior to booking flights and accommodations. The data also found that 67% of travelers from Thailand and 65% from Singapore are more likely to plan things to do before booking hotels and flights.
