The Korea MICE Bureau has greatly expanded its online resources for international event planners with the launch of its fully-updated official website, www.koreaconvention.org. Designed to cater to the ever-widening variety of meetings, incentive programs, and other events hosted in Korea today, the site’s content has been expanded to go beyond conventions to cover all kinds of business events programs.

Catering to most modern platforms, the new site prioritizes mobile-friendliness for professionals on the move through easier browsing, simple navigation, and text resizing, while still maintaining a rich layout for those viewing on larger screens. In addition, the revamped main page makes finding content for events such as corporate meetings, conventions, or incentive trips, fast and easy.
More Reasons to Choose Korea
Event planners considering Korea as their host destination will find even more information to help them decide. New and expanded sections include Top 10 Reasons for Choosing Korea, a MICE Cities section that introduces the strengths of each region specializing in business events, and a Unique Experiences database, in which planners and event delegates can select from a range of Korea-themed activities to enhance their visit to the country.
There is also an improved Accommodation database, as well as a Press Articles & Supplements section, and MICE Tourism Ventures, a directory of innovative Korean startups supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the KMB, which event organizers can work with to create unique programs tailored their requirements.

In order to better facilitate the wider scope of international activities now conducted in Korea, the site places greater emphasis on a more diverse range of events and the needs of meeting and incentive planners, association executives, and other business professionals. These can submit their requirements through an easy-to-use Request for Proposal page.
#meetinKorea Relaunch Campaign
Business events professionals who share their top reasons for choosing Korea as their event destination as part of the Korea MICE Bureau’s #meetinKorea website relaunch campaign are eligible for a range of prizes, including flights to Seoul, a Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and an Amazon Gift Card. Entries close December 19th.
