Korean Air ranked 9th in 2022 World Airline Awards hosted by Skytrax

Korean Air ranked ninth in the 2022 World Airline Awards hosted by Skytrax, an international air transport rating organization based in the United Kingdom. The airline’s ranking jumped significantly from 22nd to ninth this year.

Skytrax’s annual best airlines are selected based on a passenger satisfaction survey that covers a wide range of factors in cabin services, ground/airport services and onboard products.

Korean Air continues to be recognized worldwide for its strong performance throughout the pandemic and efforts to enhance customer service. The airline was not only named Air Transport World’s 2021 Airline of the Year and 2022 Cargo Operator of the Year, but also received a Skytrax 5-star COVID safety rating and a 5-star global airline rating by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX).

Korean Air also recently collaborated with Marc Almert, one of the world’s top sommeliers, in the selection of new inflight wines, which will be served onboard from March 2023.

In addition to Bibimbap, Korean Air’s signature inflight meal, the airline recently introduced a variety of new Korean inflight meal options to provide a memorable post-pandemic inflight experience.
