KSRTC Munnar introduced sleeper buses

The KSRTC Munnar has recently partnered with the tourism department and devised a perfect cheap stay on the KSRTC Sleeper buses. One can find these AC Sleeper buses parked at the Munnar Bus stand. Lately, with the imitative of KSRTC, these old buses have been converted to attract more tourists. There are 5 to 6 buses and in each bus, there are 16 berths.

The Munnar bus stand is around 2-3 kms away from the Munnar City. In Rs. 100, only the berth is available. Blanket, bed sheet and pillows are charged separately. Also, one can book the entire bus for Rs. 1,600 for groups or large family. As of now, online booking is not available. The stay timing starts from 5 pm to 10 am. Inside the bus, water drinking facility is available with common mobile charging point. At the bus stop, one can use toilet as well. These buses are sanitized and cleaned after 10 am once everyone has checked out.
