With a target to market winter tourism activities in all the remote corners Kulgam along with other destinations of this district in J&K and to boost Kulgam tourism, the district Administration will be organizing winter activities like trekking expeditions, adventure camps in the upcoming days.
This information was unveiled during a meeting arranged under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat.
Threadbare discussions were held during the meeting in terms of the routes, spots and areas where these winter activities will be carried out within the set activity plan.
Where these winter activities will be carried out, the DC requested the officers to put in place all necessary arrangements at these places. It was decided that these activities will be carried out in areas of Aharbal, Chiranbal, Gurwatan, Pachanpatri, Nandimarg-Zajimarg, Badibehak and in other feasible areas.
The meeting among others was attended by ADC, CEO-ADA, CPO, ACR, DFO, TO and other officers.
