Kuwait’s Wataniya restarts after pause

One of the three national carriers of Kuwait, the Wataniya airways is all set to resume since it has ceased operations in 2011. One of the three national carriers in Kuwait will resume functioning soon according to the state news agency Kuna.

The first flight is getting ready to reach Georgia’s capital, Tbilisi, it has been scheduled that the flight will ply thrice a week. Besides this the airline further decided to fly to Azerbaijan’s Baku and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Sarajevo this week.

At the initial stage of resuming the flights, the airline will reach some 16 destinations including, Egypt,Egypt, UAE, Lebanon, Jordan, Iran, India, Pakistan and some European countries. Al Tuwaijri Group has further managed to restart functioning, and soon these would increase revenue earning and there will be a rise in the capital, and other pending commitments shall be met as well.

The group named Ali Al-Fozan as chairman of the board and Riyadh Al-Saeed as his deputy, while Khaled Al-Marzouq, Fawzi Al-Ateeqi and Ibrahim Al- Tuwaijri are members of the board. The airline resumes its flights with two Airbus A320s, and the fleet will be completed by the end of this year or next year.

The company said in a statement that it has a five-year plan until 2022 and focuses on providing excellent services to all travellers.
