Between Georgia and Kyrgyzstan, tourism happens to be a promising sector of cooperation, said Ambassador of Georgia to Kyrgyzstan Zurab Abashidze, Trend reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Ambassador made the comment at the meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Chingiz Aidarbekov in Bishkek.
According to the press service of the ministry, both the parties talked about the current state of relations between the countries and possibilities for additional development in terms of bilateral cooperation.
At the meeting, agreements on developing trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation were reached. Also, the parties talked about problems of organizing joint events in 2020 along with arranging official visit of Georgian Foreign Minister, David Zalkaliani to Kyrgyzstan.
Also, the parties saw that tourism is a promising area when it comes to mutual cooperation. The Kyrgyz side showed good amount of interest in gaining the experience of Georgia in this area, as well as pulling Georgian tourism companies to the market of Kyrgyzstan.
The parties shared ideas on important issues of the international and regional agenda, and confirmed their mutual disposition towards the further development of multifaceted bilateral cooperation.
