Between Georgia and Kyrgyzstan, tourism is one of the most favorable areas of cooperation, said Ambassador of Georgia to Kyrgyzstan Zurab Abashidze, Trend reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
He commented this at a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov in Bishkek.
According to the press service of the ministry, the parties talked about the present state of relations between the countries and prospects in regards to further development of bilateral cooperation.
In a gathering, agreements on developing trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation were initiated. Also, the parties had a talk about issues of organizing joint events in 2020 along with the organization of the official visit of Georgian Foreign Minister, David Zalkaliani to Kyrgyzstan.
Also, the parties observed that tourism is a profitable area in terms of mutual cooperation. The Kyrgyz camp showed huge inclination in gaining Georgia’s experience in this area, along with drawing Georgian tourism companies to the market of Kyrgyzstan.
The parties highlighted the important issues of the international and regional agenda, and reaffirmed their mutual disposition as well in the direction of further development of multifaceted bilateral cooperation.
