Indians would rapidly be able to journey their 4x4s or initiate biking blitz via some prohibited land in the
planned Chang Chenmo segment near to guarding points north of Pangong Lake in eastern Ladakh. Border deadlock with China is in its fourth year currently.

In the initial stage, tourists would be permitted across the 18,314-feet-high Marsimik La till Tsogtsalo, which is grassland close to the meeting of Rimdi Chu and Chang Chenmo Rivers, approximately 160 kms east of Leh.

In the second stage, tourists can travel up to Hot Springs, along with the monument constructed in
honor of 10 CRPF jawans slain on October 21, 1959, attacked by the Chinese.

The Indian Army, typically uncertain in such circumstances, is committed. According to the Army
HQ, the Indian Army recognized the inauguration of a number of hikes and roads comprising Marsimik La,
along with other places like Hot Spring and Tsogtsalo.
