Las Brisas Acapulco awarded six Point V20 quality seals from Federal Tourism Secretariat

After revamping health and safety protocols throughout the resort due to the global pandemic, Las Brisas Acapulco, part of the established Mexican hotel chain Grupo BRISAS, has been awarded six Point V20 quality seals from the Program of Good Practices for Hygienic-Sanitary Quality, granted by the Federal Tourism Secretariat.

Announced in July 2020 by the Mexican Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Government of Mexico, the Clean Point Quality Seal V2020 aims to improve hygienic quality for all establishments within the tourism sector throughout all of Mexico, awarding good practices for hygienic-sanitary quality.

This prestigious award recognizes excellence in areas including Human Resources, Sales, Rooms Division, Reception, Lobby and Pools. In order to receive these seals, Las Brisas Acapulco participated in a bimodal training of the Guerrero Punto Limpio COVID-19 Program promoted by the State Secretariat of Tourism.

“We decided to continue with this process that today is a goal accomplished and thus become the first to receive them in the entire state of Guerrero within this stage of new normality,”  said Rubén Rosales del Valle, General Manager of Hotel Las Brisas Acapulco. “Of course, it is a great honor and pride to have obtained them and it is a great commitment to keep them.”

Through this award, the hotel and tourism companies can now guarantee all national and foreign tourists who visit Brisas Acapulco a completely safe and sanitary stay throughout the entire hotel.
