London’s tourism businesses have been recognised and celebrated at the annual UKInbound Awards held on Thursday 7th February at The Savill Court Hotel, Windsor.
The awards acknowledge tourism businesses who are attracting international visitors to the UK and eight of the awards, including two for leaders in the industry where snapped up by London.
The prestigious Chairman’s Award for Recognition of Services to Tourism was presented to Ann Wilson, Head of Sales at Historic Royal Palaces while the Industry Rising Star Award was won by Matt Littlechild from made Tourism Marketing.
Guoman and Thistle Hotels made their mark on the awards this year by winning Hotel Group of the Year and the Individual Hotel or Individual Hostel of the Year award for the Cumberland Hotel.
The Individual Attraction of the Year award was picked up by Warner Bros. Studio Tour London while The Original London Sightseeing Tour and made Tourism Marketing won Sightseeing Provider of the Year and Service Provider of the Year respectively. Completing the eight award winners was Westfield as Retail Destination of the Year.
