Los Angeles County Los Angeles Tourism highlights that 48.5 million people visited Los Angeles County in 2017.

Out of these 41.2 million were domestic travelers and 7.3 million came from overseas, mainly from China and South Korea.

The Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board has said that all those travellers churned out some $35 million in total economic impact for the county.

The local tour operator explains that the staying power of Los Angeles as a tourist destination is located in no small part on the universal appeal of exploring the world’s dream factory in Tinseltown, the backyard of the Beverly Hills, and the beauty and fun Santa Monica.

The tour operator observes that its five hour tour starts on the world famous Walk of Fame on Hollywood Blvd, then slowly moves on for lunch to the innumerous variety of the Los Angeles Farmer’s Market, leading to the legendary ultra-high-end boutiques of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, and then to the Santa Monica Pier and a two-hour journeying in and around the nearby beaches.

They explained that its tours are designed to provide visitors with a fun and exciting impression of what the Los Angeles area has in store for the travellers. That’s no small accomplishment, the tour operator adds, given that sheer enormity of the area.
