Louisa County introduces new tourism app

For people, a new app is all set to make it seamless to plan trips to Louisa County and its adjoining sites.

This week, the Visit Louisa app was launched, together with an online companion tool that comprises interactive maps and the facility to discover different categories of activities.

Some of the categories are Breweries, Wineries, and Cideries; Tours and Trails, Golf; and Featured Shopping.

Duane Adams, the chairman of the Louisa County Board of Supervisors, said that this new app will assist in shedding light on area businesses along with events that make grand day trips for locals of the adjoining counties or provide improved experiences to the week-long visitors. It allows people to add things that interests them and events as well as share their ideas with their friends by taking the help of email and social media.

To design the app, the Louisa County Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism had together worked with Visit Widget.
