Lug valley to be developed as a tourism hotspot

The Himachal Pradesh government had included the Lug valley under the “NaiRahein, NaiManzilein” scheme to improve unexplored tourism spots in the region, said DC AshutoshGarg.

Presiding over a meeting regarding the infrastructural facilities to be created under the scheme, Garg said that there are many pristine places in the valley that could be established as a center of attraction for the tourists.

Garg said thatMathasauris a beautiful place where tourists could be attracted to.He asked the department to prepare a proposal for ropeway for this site from Bhalyani. The DC said that brown trout can be found in the valley’s natural springs and streams and it needs to be made public. “Efforts will be made to bring the valley on the tourism map by creating basic facilities for the tourists,” he said.
