From November 10 to November 26, Saigontourist Travel Service Company will welcome three international cruise ships from Celebrity Cruises, located in Miami, Florida, bringing a total of 7,500 guests to Vietnam.
On November 10, the Celebrity Solstice cruise ship with 2,700 foreign guests is expected to land at Phu My port in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province. The tourists will go on a five-day excursion that will take them to Nha Trang, Thua Thien-Hue, and Ha Long Bay.
The cruise ship will return to Ha Long Bay, Thua Thien-Hue, and Phu My port on November 18, carrying another 2,700 people. The Celebrity Millennium is scheduled to arrive at a port in Thua Thien-Hue province on November 26 with around 2,100 passengers from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia. The guests will travel through Vietnam’s central area before exiting the next day.
The presence of these cruise ships demonstrates Vietnam’s robust recovery of international tourism, notably in the cruise industry. Other prominent cruise lines, including as Silversea Cruises and Crystal Cruises, are expected to visit Saigon tourist in the coming months.
The surge of cruise ships underlines Vietnam’s rising confidence as a tourism destination and emphasises the country’s allure to foreign visitors. The itinerary, which includes coastal cities, historical monuments, and natural wonders, highlights Vietnam’s tourist potential.
The upward trend reflects the larger recovery of the international tourist industry, indicating a return to normalcy and a comeback of travel activity in the region.
