Mabrian calls end of big data and urges sector to focus on actionable insight. The travel Intelligence provider Mabrian announces “The era of ‘big data’ is over” and urges industry to focus on “real-time and actionable insights based on data analytics”.
In response to this new need Mabrian has reinforced its Customer Success team to provide partners with not only insights but concrete answers.
Sonia Huerta has joined from THR Innovative Tourism Advisors to lead the Customer Success team, offering deep knowledge of strategic planning, management and promotion for destinations.
Mabrian – the leading provider of Travel Intelligence – has announced today at FITUR that “The era of ‘big data’ is over” in the tourism industry and called on the sector to instead focus upon “real-time and actionable insights” when looking at destination trends.
As a direct response to this revised new need of the sector Mabrian has recently restructured its Customer Success team, which works closely with partners to help turn multiple data sources into specific information in the form of actionable insights.
This will be achieved by providing partners – including not only tourism boards & CVBs, but also hotel chains and airlines – with customized assessment to better understand their business needs and find the best information and indicators available to support their decisions.
The objective is clear: to move from providing information to providing answers. To achieve that a balance between a powerful Travel Intelligence tool and a deep tourism sector knowledge is required. The sector needs agile solutions more than ever.
To lead the Customer Success team Mabrian has recruited Sonia Huerta – who has more than 10 years of expertise in international projects – from THR Innovative Tourism Advisors, a management consultancy specializing in the tourism sector.
Sonia joined the company’s Barcelona offices at the close of 2020 and will have a team of up to 20 people reporting directly to her by the end of 2021.
