Macao Light Festival 2019 kick starts

‘Macao Light Festival 2019-Explore the Light’ will keep Macao lighted until 31^st December and is organised by Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and co-organsied by Municipal Affairs Bureau, Cultural Affairs Bureau and Sports Bureau.

The light festival illuminates the city’s northern district for the first time and this will be the fifth year which will see four teams coming from Spain, Portugal, Japan and Shenzhen. There will be two local teams to present an array of projection mapping shows for the joyful celebration of the 20^th anniversary of the establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR). The projection mapping revealed that light installations, interactive games and more. It covered 15 locations across four districts which includes the newly-featured northern district.

The light installations at Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre, Anim’Arte Nam Van and the white canopy at Nam Van will be illuminated until 12:10 am midnight on December 31.
