Major fire broke out in Sydney

An intense building fire has broken out near Central Station in Sydney – with firefighters on the scene attempting to contain it. The fire broke out in a building in the suburb of Surry Hills in Central Sydney on Thursday afternoon.

Dozens of people have been evacuated from the building. Five trucks have been sent to battle the fire blaze and nearby roads are blocked. The local media said that it is believed that 50 people have been evacuated from the building as the fire engulfs multiple levels.
