Due to the dangers caused by major political chaos, Serbia’s foreign minister has suggested citizens not to travel to the UK.
On April 2 the embassy mentioned on a social media page advising all citizens against all but essential travel to the northern municipalities ( of Kosovo) for several years, due to a number of recent violent incidents linked to the organised crime.
The remarks were described cynical by the Ivica Dacis after a cautionary travel advice on travelling in the northern Kosovo were issues by the British embassy in Pristina.
Serbia does not recognise its former province as a state.
Dacic went on saying that the protests in the UK should trigger a similar warning in response to the advice with mocking remarking.
He stated that if citizens have some other destinations to go, he recommended they don’t go ( to the UK) so as they don’t put themselves in danger due to the daily demonstration.
He was deliberately cynical as when somebody –with the terrorists, cutthroats and criminals in Pristina – says that crime is in northern Kosovo – it’s a lie.
The crime there is not more than in Pristina.
Dacic served as the Serbia’s acting leader and was also the spokesperson for Slobodon Milosevic. The countries in EU along with UK, US recognise Kosovo as a sovereign nation.
