Malaysia is all prepared to make tourismNow, Rajasthan has been earmarked by Malaysia in investing in tourism and infrastructure sector. Prime Minister Najib Razak and Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and senior officials had open discussion on opportunities for investment by Malaysian companies. In all these years Rajasthan has emerged as one of the most investment-friendly destinations in India. Various sectors like tourism and infrastructure development are some of the most prominent sectors in which the Malaysian investors are enthusiastic.


Investing in infrastructure development, tourism, urban development, water management, transport, health care and other sectors have been invited by Raje to many Malaysian companies. All possibilities of direct air connectivity between Malaysia and Rajasthan have been thoroughly discussed by the two leaders. Also, Jaipur, the state capital will be made as a key medical tourism hub by intensification of healthcare infrastructure and building affordable housing projects.


In the meeting, presentation was done by the additional Chief Secretaries of Public Works, Urban Development and Tourism departments of Rajasthan. Additionally, Transport minister Yunus Khan, Urban Development and Housing minister Srichand Kriplani, Industry Minister Rajpal Singh, Tourism minister Krishnedra Kaur, senior officials of the state government, Indian High Commissioner in Malaysia T. S. Tirumurti, High Commissioner of Malaysia to India Hidayat Abdul Hamid were also present in the meeting.
