On September 8th-10th of this year, the Marianas Visitors Authority collaborated with Dynasty Holiday at the China International Tourism Industry Expo or CITIE in Guangzhou to display the Marianas.
Tourism Administration of Guangdong Province had hosted this year’s 7th CITIE. It took place in the China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex and succeeded in attracted more than 200 exhibitors. The number was almost double the number of exhibitors who participated in 2016. Global and domestic exhibitors from 55 different countries and regions along with 22 mainland China provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions were some the main participants at the event.
“CITIE provided a perfect opportunity to showcase the unique charms of Saipan, Tinian, and Rota,” said MVA managing director Christopher A. Concepcion. “We participated in the opening ceremony of the event and shared a booth with Dynasty Holiday to present the public and travel industry delegates with the many attractions, natural beauty, and cultures of The Marianas, as well as travel tips.”
