Martin Robinson appointed Chairman of Travelodge

Martin Robinson has been appointed as the new Chairman of Travelodge, the UK budget hotel brand which operates 586 hotels in the UK, Ireland and Spain.

Martin has spent most of his career in the leisure industry and brings a wealth of expertise in brand building, strategic management and leadership. He spent 17 years at Center Parcs as CEO of the European business and President of the UK.

He also served for 10 years on the boards of Disneyland Paris and Regus Plc and has chaired several other businesses including Holmes Place Health Clubs and wagamama. Martin currently chairs the UK operations of Burger King, and Parkdean Resorts, the UK vacation park operator.
