Melbourne Edge Event Series returns to AIME 2018

AIME Edge HeaderFollowing its successful launch by Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB) last year, the Melbourne Edge –  Event Series is returning to the Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME), bigger, better and bolder.

 

The knowledge forum, supported by Showtime Event Group and C2 will be themed around the creative future of business events and incorporate world leading speakers, interactive workshops and exciting collaborations that will inspire delegates to embrace creativity to influence business outcomes.

 

Taking place at Showtime Event Centre on South Wharf Promenade on Monday, 19 February the Melbourne Edge – Event Series is designed to be immersive and encourage inspiring discussions and collaborations.

 

C2 International, renowned as the world’s most innovative business conference has partnered with MCB on the Melbourne Edge – Event Series, bringing their unique approach that helps delegates unlock their creativity to embrace disruption and change.

 

Attendees will have the opportunity to experience a collaborative environment specifically designed to provoke collisions and spark new ideas, using a combination of talks, workshops and experimental brainstorming sessions, facilitated by C2.

 

The lab sessions for which C2 is renowned, such as the Ball Pool and In the Dark, will take attendees on a sensory journey and explore how they solve problems in an unexpected environment.

 

International and Australian speakers will provide unique insight into how they utilise creativity to drive the success of their organisations.

 

Martin Enault, Chief Operating Officer, C2 International will discuss the future of experiential events and importance of designing for the participant.

 

Martin is renowned for creating innovative concepts incorporating business, entertainment and technology. Martin co-founded Intellitix, which became the award-winning leading global provider of RFID access control and cashless payment systems for live events. He has also produced over 2000 events across 64 countries, before joining C2 International, where he now leads the company in the Asia-Pacific region.

 

Melissa Kaplan, Chief Digital Advisor, Microsoft will discuss the future of communication.

 

Melissa assists senior business leader in imagining, envisioning and designing their digital future state. Her passion is a digital transformation evangelist within Microsoft and the wider business community.

 

Carolyn Miller, Managing Director, The Honeycomb Effect, will discuss the rise of influencer marketing and how it will extend the reach and outcomes of events.

 

Carolyn has nearly 20 years’ experience in the advertising industry, working primarily as a Strategic Planning Director for global advertising agencies. The Honeycomb Effect helps other businesses do what they do best, through business strategy consulting, advertising and communications and presentations.
