Mereté Hotel Management appoints Jacob Youngblood for Regional Director of Sales, Eugene

Mereté Hotel Management has appointed Jacob Youngblood for Regional Director of Sales in the Eugene/Springfield Area. Jacob Youngblood will oversee the sales efforts for the six hotels managed by Mereté in the area, including its newest hotel, the Hyatt Place Eugene/Oakway Center.

Mr. Youngblood is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Stout, with a dual bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management and Business Administration.  He has over ten years of experience in the hospitality industry, including over six years’ experience in hotel sales. In his most recent role, Youngblood was the Director of Group Sales at the (former) Hilton in downtown Eugene where he oversaw the group sales management team while managing national & regional market segments.

Liz Dahlager, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Mereté said that Mereté Hotel Management is thrilled to have Jacob join our Eugene Springfield team.  An avid distance runner, Youngblood enjoys travelling and wine tasting. His involvement in the community includes work with Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce, Meeting Professionals International, and Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International.
