From Cancun to Playa del Carmen, Tulum, and further, the Mexican Caribbean is one of the hottest travel destinations of the world, to the extent that many professionals related to local tourism of the region are hoping for an improved year in 2023 in comparison to 2022, the record-breaking year that the Mexican Caribbean had this year as they are all set to observe the biggest year on record in terms of tourist arrivals.

For 2023, what’s in store when it comes to Quintana Roo tourism? Why tourists rush to the Mexican Caribbean?

In 2023, it’s being calculated that Quintana Roo will welcome more than 20.5 million visitors which is a 4.5% rise from last year. Some of the attractions to the area are clear. Gorgeous beaches with white-sand that extends for miles, ideal weather all through the year, incredible resorts, and turquoise blue waters are all the main reasons why tourists rush to the Mexican Caribbean every year. There is no better place to relax and take pleasure in a vacation that’s completely stress-free.

In addition, other important elements that the state will endorse to draw maximum visitors to the region will be exotic culture, food, nature, medical tourism, and sports.

For this year, to break down the numbers expected, there will be more than 13 million tourists from abroad as well as around 7.4 million domestic tourists.
